FUNimation Aquires Kaze no Stigma

American entertainment company, FUNimation Entertainment has announced they've acquired Kaze no Stigma from Japan anime studio GDH K.K.
Kaze no Stigma incorporates the 4 basic elements used by an ancient clan from which Kazuma, the lead character, is a decedent. However Kazuma is unable to use this family skill and is defeated by his younger female cousin, Ayano for the title of the clan successor.
Exiled, Kazuma finds a new power and comes back to claim his rightful spot in a battle with Ayano while Tokyo is caught in the middle of the chaos.
FUNimation intends to release the 24 episode Kaze no Stigma on DVD in 2009.
